I attend this school and it's really really cool! I love the idea of having teams. Unlike other schools like Terewells, this school is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I love it here and so do many others who go here! I took a survey myself to ask people if they liked this school or not. Trust me, they LOVED it! I don't think any students have ever loved a school so much.

I am not a parent. I am a student @ kingsborough. I'm in the 8th grade and I absolutely love it there. It makes me feel like home. I mean the teachers are so great. Well if you want to send your kids to a place that makes them feel comforable kingsborough would be that school. Remember that when you need a place to send your kids. Go knights! -taylor perez class of 2007

I have my second child in KMS! I do agree that you need to stay involved, but I think that is true at any school. My boys have played in the band and playing football! They learned a lot about music and sports. I am pleased with the staff as well as the principal.

I work at kms and I can honestly say that I would not send my child there. There is a lack of respect from the students toward teachers, administrators and fellow classmates. The administration does not follow thru with consequences. I would say that there are 50% good/excellent teachers but also 50% poor teachers. Some are there for a paycheck only. If you are a parent with a child at kms you must be involved. Ask about your child's teacher. If something does not sound right keep asking questions. It is your right to be informed.

Kingsborough has always been known as the top school in Harlandale ISD. I believe that's because the teachers work extremely hard, and are very caring of the students.

Kingsborough is such a wonderful school. The teachers were always there to listen if you ever had a problem. They made time to speak with my parents and with me whenever it was needed. The counselor's helped me out a bunch, whenever I was unhappy with my class schedule they worked quickly to make it fit to my satisfaction. Also the computer classes help out a lot, they prepare you for the business world getting you familiar with microsoft word, powerpoint, and microsoft excel. Also the teachers would make time to tutor you whenever you needed it. The principal showed great leadership, and worked with the teachers to make fun days for the students, and award days after every report card. Also they have teams at kingsborough they have two six grade teams also they have two seventh grade teams, and two eight grade teams, which sometimes play against each other.
